Developing Disciplined,

Skilled, and Confident Basketball Players

Youth basketball training focused on skill development, accountability, and long-term growth.

We guide young players with clear instruction, individual development, and mentorship- so their hard work translates into real game situations.

Why Parents choose Akec E1L1 Academy

Parents invest hours into games, practices, and extra training , yet still watch their child struggle to improve or see their hard word translate into games. Confidence drops. Frustration builds.

Too often, young athletes are left to “just play” without proper guidance- especially during the most important developmental years.

At Akec E1L1 Academy, we believe development should be intentional, structured, and built around the individual athlete.

Guided development that makes sense

As a current professional basketball player, I understand what it feels like to work hard without seeing results translate into games. I’ve lived that frustration—and I know how important the right guidance is.

Every athlete develops differently. That’s why we focus on fundamentals, confidence, and discipline—taught the right way.

What We Teach

Skill Development

Real game skills, taught the right way. We focus on fundamentals that translate directly to game situations- shooting mechanics, ball handling, footwork, finishing, and decision- making. Every drill has a purpose and progression.

Discipline & Accountability

Habits that build better athletes and people. Athletes are taught to show up prepared, listen and take responsibility for their effort. We emphasise consistency, respect, and focus- standards that carry beyond the court.

Training designed for long term development, not short- term results.

Confidence & Basketball IQ

Confidence comes from preparation. Players learn how to read the game, make smart decisions, and trust their skills under pressure. As understanding grows, confidence follows naturally.

Training Parents can Trust

At Akec E1L1 Academy, training is built around long-term development- not shortcuts or hype.

Sessions are structured, age-appropriate, and focused on helping young athletes:

  • Learn proper fundamentals

  • Build discipline and accountability

  • Develop confidence in a positive training environment

Athletes are coached with clear expectations, consistent standards, and respect- creating an environment where they can grow both on and off the court.

We prioritise quality over quantity, ensuring each athlete receives attention, guidance, and purposeful instruction every session.

Step 2

Individualized Development

Sessions are tailored to the athlete- focusing on fundamentals, confidence, and skills that translate into games. Parents receive clear feedback after every session.

Step 3

Ongoing Guidance

Development doesn’t stop when session ends. We maintain open communication with parents to support long-term growth and consistency.
